Lemon Parmesan Green Beans

Green beans are one of the easiest green vegetables to make as a side dish. There are so many different ways to make them. They can be baked, fried, boiled, or seared. This recipe is all about searing. And, with just a handful of ingredients, you can make your green beans flavorful in virtually no time at all.

As a child, I did not care too much for pan-seared green beans. Typically, I preferred to eat them when they were boiled for a long time with a lot of seasoning and broth. However, as I matured and grew up, I embraced a quick pan-seared green bean recipe whenever it came my way. This recipe is one of my go-to recipes and I just love how the flavors of the parmesan and lemon juice work so well together.

To cook these green beans, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Next, add the green beans, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, to taste. Here are just a few tips for you to follow: First, be sure to wash and trim the green beans, Second, when it comes to the lemon juice you use, keep in mind that fresh is always best! You can even grate a little lemon zest over the seared green beans if you would like an extra boost of lemon. Third, be sure to not use too much salt.
