Notes

  • Frozen bananas are best. If you don’t have frozen, then add a few ice cubes!
  • Add more milk as needed depending on the consistency you like.

To make this Banana Milkshake, simply add 1 peeled, chopped, and frozen banana, 1 ½ cups of vanilla ice cream, ½ cup of unsweetened almond milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to a blender. Blend until everything is well combined. Check the consistency to make sure it is to your liking. Add more milk, if you feel it is too thick. Also, if you don’t have frozen bananas, you can add a few ice cubes to the blender and blend. 3 to 4 ice cubes are best! Finally, pour the milkshake into cups and top with whipped cream. I recommend that you use a lot of whipped cream! It makes the milkshake taste like banana pudding. So, if you like banana pudding, then you don’t want to miss out on adding a lot of whipped cream!

Then, all that is left to do is serve and enjoy! It’s just so simple, easy, and fun! I should add that it is also best to let the ice cream thaw for at least 10 minutes before scooping it out to put in the blender. It helps the blending to be easier and faster! However, if you forget to thaw, then no worries! The milk will help to break it down and thin it out.

When it comes to serving this Banana Milkshake, get as creative as you want with it. After topping the milkshake with whipped cream, you can put some sprinkles on top, or even add more little banana slices if you would like. This recipe is great for children because children absolutely love bananas. You can feel good serving this milkshake to the children because bananas also offer a lot of potassium. Yes, it’s sweet, but it’s a wonderful treat! Hopefully, you enjoy this easy-to-make Banana Milkshake! Happy…Blending!
