This Garlic Roasted Broccoli is made with ease using only a few ingredients. All you need for this recipe is olive oil, broccoli, and minced garlic. You can use minced garlic straight out of a jar, or, a garlic clove that you finely mince yourself. To get started on making this, preheat your oven to 375°F. Then, wash the broccoli and pat it dry. Don’t worry if your broccoli still has moisture in it. It will simply steam off in the oven. Next, in a bowl, toss together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

After, place the broccoli on a baking sheet and drizzle the garlic and olive mixture on the broccoli. Toss to coat the broccoli evenly. Please don’t hesitate to taste a raw piece of broccoli to see if it has enough salt and pepper for you. Then, place the broccoli in the oven and roast it for 20 to 25 minutes. I prefer to roast mine for 25 minutes because I like mine to be a bit crunchier. However, the level of doneness is up to you. After 25 minutes, remove it from the oven and serve. This broccoli does not need any rest time. You can eat it and enjoy it immediately. Just don’t burn your tongue!

Sometimes, I like to make this as a midday snack. It helps my body to get nutrients. It also helps to curb any of my crunchy food cravings. I find that whenever I serve this broccoli recipe to people, they like it a lot better than just the regular steamed broccoli or pan-cooked broccoli. My family and friends always ask what I did to it to make it taste so unique. And, like a good hostess, I always share the recipe!

As you can see, this is a rather quick recipe to prepare. After prep, you simply have to wait 20 minutes or so for the broccoli to roast. However, during that time you can go ahead and cook your other sides or your main course. This roasted broccoli is delicious to serve as a side, or to even add into a stir fry meal.

If you’re feeling adventurous, try adding some pine nuts to the broccoli once it comes out of the oven. I have done that a few times before, and it was delicious. However, for this recipe, we’re keeping it simple. Any additional ingredients you choose to use are up to your discretion. I hope you enjoy this recipe and keep it in your rotation. Happy Cooking!
