For this recipe, I am using plain thick-cut brioche bread. Usually, I prefer to use cinnamon swirl bread. It’s so much faster to prepare because I can leave out certain ingredients that it already has. Cinnamon swirl bread is already infused with the ingredients such as nutmeg and cinnamon that I just love! I know most stores do not carry that kind of bread. So, I made this recipe easy for you by simply using plain. Brioche bread is great to use for french toast. And, it is rather easy to find at any grocery store.

This is also a very calming recipe to make. Get up early in the morning, put on your favorite tunes, and bask in the fun of whipping up something the entire family can enjoy. Yes, even the little ones! It will be hard to find any picky eaters when it comes down to this breakfast recipe.

Now since we are making this recipe in the air fryer you are going to want to first start by spraying your air fryer basket with cooking spray and air fry at 330°F for 5 to 6 minutes per side. Again, the air fryer does all the work for you so it is as easy as popping something in the microwave and waiting for it all to be done and ready to eat. Before putting each slice in the air fryer, make sure to coat the bread well in your egg mixture.

Once it’s all finished, add your favorite maple syrup on top. Oh! And don’t forget the berries! I like to use blackberries and raspberries. Strawberries also are another popular fruit of choice to add to this recipe. If you want to add more sweetness, you cannot exclude the whipped cream! Mmmm Yummmmm I can taste it all right now! This is the perfect breakfast dish to whip up for that friend or family member to warm their heart! And of course, fill their stomachs! Enjoy!
