To get started on making this dessert, you will need: One 9-inch store bought premade pie crust. For the peach filling, you will need: 6 yellow peaches that are peeled and sliced ¼ inch thick, ½  cup of granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. And, finally for the topping, you will need 3/4 cup of brown sugar, 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon,and 1 stick of cubed unsalted butter.

Ingredients

  • For the Crust:
  • One One 9-inch storebought premade pie crust

  • For the Filling:
  • 6 6 yellow peaches, peeled and sliced ¼ inch thick

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tablespoons 2 unsalted butter

  • 1 teaspoon 1 ground cinnamon

  • For the Crisp Topping:
  • 3/4 cup 3/4 brown sugar

  • 3/4 cup 3/4 all-purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon 1 ground cinnamon

  • 1 1 stick unsalted butter, cubed

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C. Prep a round or square baking dish with pie crust.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together brown sugar, flour, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and softened butter. (Mixture should be crumbly).
  • Next, in a large skillet, over medium heat, combine sliced peaches, granulated sugar, butter and ground cinnamon. Cook until softened (about 5 minutes).
  • Pour peaches on top of pie crust. And top with crumble mixture. Set aside.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and allow to rest for 10-15 minutes before serving with ice cream. Enjoy!

Once the ingredients are prepped, preheat your oven to 350°F/180°C. Then, in a large skillet,  prep your fresh peach filling. Do this by combining the fresh sliced peaches, granulated sugar, unsalted butter, and ground cinnamon. Place the filling in the pie shell.  

After that, sprinkle the crumb topping on top generously. Bake your Cinnamon Peach Crumble for 30 minutes. Remove it from the oven and allow it to rest for 10 to 15 minutes before serving. 

Allow this dish to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. You don’t want to burn your tongue! Enjoy with your ice cream of choice. Happy Baking!!
