To get started on making this easy Cinnamon Apple Granola, you will need 2 cups of old-fashioned oats and 1 large apple that is sliced into ¼ inch cubes. You can use any kind of apple you wish. Granny Smith will give off a bit more of a bitter taste, while Macintosh and Red Delicious will give off a sweeter taste. However, it is best to use your favorite so you can really enjoy this snack. You will also need ¼ cup of brown sugar, ½ stick (4 tablespoons) of melted unsalted butter, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon.

To make this, preheat the oven to 325°F/160°C. Then, prepare a baking sheet with some parchment paper. Next, in a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients. Pour the mixture onto the baking sheet and spread it out. Bake it for 20 to 25 minutes. Be sure to stir at the halfway point to ensure even cooking. After 20 to 25 minutes, remove the granola from the oven and allow it to cool for 10 minutes before enjoying.

You do not want to forget to stir the granola up at the 10-minute mark. This helps the granola to cook evenly and get equally crunchy all throughout. It also helps the cubed apples to not get soggy.
