Easy Garlic Sautéed Spinach

Remember as children, we turned our noses up at simply the sight of spinach? If you didn’t do that, then you’re one of the rare few. As a young child, I always turned my nose up at spinach, whether raw or cooked. Whenever my mom placed it on my dinner plate, I turned my nose up and refused to take even the slightest bit. Could it have been the smell, the taste, or the texture of the wilted leaves that was turning me off so much? To tell you the truth, I don’t understand why I disliked it so much.

I could have just scooped it up with a fork and eaten it in one forkful. Then, it would be over! And, I would have been one step closer to… DESSERT! Instead, I just sulked and ate mostly everything but the ooey-gooey spinach.
