Crab Seasoned Fries

Crab Seasoned Fries

The best way to season up your fries right is to turn them into crab fries! Yes, you read that right. Crab Fries are one of the best side dishes to serve with burgers, pizza, and sandwiches! So, go right ahead and break out that Old Bay Seasoning because this recipe is for sure to please your palate!

I am so excited to bring this recipe to you today! It’s been one of my favorite recipes to make this year. Ever since getting an air fryer, I have been making everything in it. I know that everybody doesn’t own an air fryer, so I’ve also tested making these in the oven. There is the written recipe for the oven version as well on this blog. And, it is just as delicious. The air fryer is simply an easier method and requires less cleaning up afterward.

The air fryer method is a time saver as well. Making these Crab Fries in the oven does require a longer cooking time of about 30 minutes. Whereas the air fryer only takes about 12 to 15 minutes.

You will need oil to make this, but only a little bit. I don’t recommend making this without any oil because the outer texture won’t be crunchy and when making them in the oven, the potatoes will stick to the pan. A little bit of oil in this recipe is no problem though. Air fryer and oven fries are a lot healthier than French fries that are made on the stovetop. That method of cooking fries requires a lot of oil.

Once the fries are finished cooking, add more Old Bay Seasoning if you would like. I don’t usually feel the need to add any extra. To me, they are perfect just as the recipe is written. I do however love dipping them in ketchup or cheese sauce! They’re so delicious that way!
