  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder

Directions

  • In a bowl, mix together honey, mustard, black pepper, and garlic powder. Spread on both salmon filets.
  • Air fry at 400°F/200°C for 7 minutes.
  • Remove from air fryer and allow to rest for at least 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

To say that I have found a new best friend in my air fryer would be an understatement. I am in fact in love with this gadget! I have been making everything in it! From french fries to assorted vegetables, to chicken, to muffins, and now, salmon, this air fryer has truly seen it all! The air fryer makes a salmon filet even easier to make in the oven and the clean-up isn’t tedious at all.

What I love about this salmon recipe is that it requires just a simple glaze with only a couple of seasonings. Although there are only a few ingredients, they help the salmon to pop!

To get started on making this salmon, go ahead and rinse it and pat it dry. Be sure to pick out any bones that it may have. Then, get started on making the glaze. In a small bowl, mix the mustard, honey, garlic powder, and pepper. Taste the honey mustard mixture to test if you like the flavor. If it is not to your liking, then adjust the ingredients to your liking. You want to eat something delicious!

Generously spread the honey mustard on the top of both salmon filets. Then, you can go ahead and just pop the salmon directly into the air fryer at  400°F/200°C degrees. Air fry the filets for 7 minutes. Salmon makes its own oil so none is needed with this recipe.

After air frying the salmon filets, allow them to rest for about 3 to 5 minutes before serving. Then, you can finally dig in and try it! Serve the salmon with any sides you may like. I prefer to keep it light and serve it with rice and a green veggie. Sometimes I even have the salmon on a bed of salad.

And, that’s it! Isn’t the honey mustard glaze delicious? It’s almost perfect in fact! As you can see this recipe is easy. So, even if you are not much of a cook, you can make this recipe swiftly. It only takes a moment of your time. I truly hope that you enjoy this Air Fryer Honey Mustard Salmon recipe and can make it with ease. Enjoy your quick and delicious salmon!

  1. Definitely putting into our menu rotation! I cooked 8 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. I was afraid of overcooking but even with the additional 2 minutes, the salmon was nice and moist, and definitely not overdone.
