The ingredients that you will need to make your Autumn smoothie are ¼ cup of pumpkin purée (be sure to use pumpkin purée and not pumpkin pie filling), ¾ cup of Greek yogurt, 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk, 2 medium apples that are cored and sliced (feel free to leave the peels on or remove them), 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon of ground nutmeg, 1 teaspoon of pure maple syrup, and ½ cup of ice. Making this recipe is easy. Simply put all the ingredients in your blender and blend in until all ingredients are combined. Keep in mind, there will be chunks of apples. If you leave the peel on, you will also have small pieces throughout the smoothie and with each sip. 

Doesn’t that seem easy? Well, it is. And, this is one of the reasons why I love making smoothies so much!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup pumpkin puree

  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt

  • 1 cup 1 unsweetened almond milk

  • 2 medium 2 apples, cored and sliced

  • 1 teaspoon 1 ground cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 1 teaspoon 1 maple syrup

  • 1/2 Cup 1/2 ice

Directions

  • Blend all ingredients in a blender.
  • Serve in glasses and Enjoy!

This smoothie offers a lot of nutrients. The apples contribute fiber and the Greek yogurt offers protein. So, drinking this should keep you pretty full. If you want to enjoy this as a meal and feel like you need more substance, simply add a scoop or two of your favorite protein powder to the ingredients before blending. Then, serve and enjoy!
