Now, if you aren’t an espresso lover, then you’re going to want to skip out on trying this recipe. Eating espresso beans this way can be strong! And, you might not love the aftertaste. Since these little treats contain caffeine. Eat them in moderation, especially if you are caffeine sensitive. They are sure to give you a jolt of energy!

Making this recipe should only take up about 10 to 15 minutes of your time. Of course, you’ll need to factor in time for them to set. However, the time that you are active is only about 10 to 15 minutes. So, go right ahead and put on some of your favorite tunes while you prep your ingredients. Then, you can begin melting and coating your espresso beans.

Your chocolate must be melted correctly so it can evenly coat the espresso beans. Melting chocolate is easy. Be sure to melt your chocolate on low heat and, stir it continuously, until the chocolate runs thin with no lumps.

If my melted chocolate is thin, I like to use a metal strainer when coating my beans. I simply place the espresso beans in the strainer, then I pour the chocolate over them and shake to coat them evenly while getting rid of any excess chocolate. Just be sure to do this over a bowl because if not, it will get SUPER messy!

If your chocolate is thicker, you can place the espresso beans in the chocolate and stir to mix. Then, remove them each individually with a fork and place them on parchment paper. Use whichever method suits you the best! Be sure to refrigerate them for 15 to 20 minutes or longer depending on the temperature of your refrigerator.
