Making Waffle Ice Cream Sundaes only requires a few ingredients. They are waffles, ice cream and toppings of your choice. If you have those ingredients, then you are golden. If not, then it’s time to make a quick grocery store run. Let’s get started!

Making this yummy dessert/treat will only take about 5 to 10 minutes of your time. I chose to use frozen strawberry waffles. I toasted them briefly to warm them up. You can use regular waffles or any flavor you would like. Feel free to make your waffles from scratch, a box, or frozen like how I did. If you have a signature waffle recipe, then make that for this recipe!

Also, the type of ice cream that you choose to use is up to you! I used chocolate for this recipe. Use your favorite type. This recipe leaves room for so much creativity. For toppings, use any toppings of your choice!

Nuts, fudge, caramel and chocolate chips are all great options. You can even use crushed cookies! I recommend that your waffle is nice and warm. Once you put your ice cream on the waffle, it will easily drip into the grooves of the waffle.
