I was never a true fan of scrambled eggs until I started making them this way. One of the key ingredients to making a fluffy scrambled egg is… milk! Water can be used in place of milk. Or, you can use non-dairy milk. I like using milk as opposed to water because it helps to flavor the eggs.

  • 4 large eggs

  • 2 tablespoons water or milk

  • salt and black pepper, to taste

  • pan spray or butter

Directions

  • Crack eggs in a medium-sized bowl. Add water/milk, salt and pepper and whisk.
  • Lightly spray or butter a medium skillet over medium heat.
  • Pour in eggs and allow them to sit for 1 minute untouched.
  • After 1 minute, use a silicone spatula to drag the edges of the eggs into the middle of the skillet. Continue until you reach your desired, fluffy texture (4-5 minutes).
  • Serve and Enjoy!

Notes

  • Milk enhances the flavor of the eggs and makes them fluffy.
  • Water makes the eggs fluffy.
  • Dairy-free milk may be used.

These scrambled eggs serve two and are made with just a few basic ingredients. First, you will need to crack 4 eggs into a medium-sized bowl. Then, add in a couple of tablespoons of milk or water, and whisk it well. The addition of a liquid such as milk/water brings moisture to the eggs. This is what makes them soft and fluffy!

After whisking the eggs and milk, spray or butter a medium-sized non-stick skillet and heat over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture, and let it sit for about 1 minute without messing with it. Then, using a silicone spatula, drag the edges into the middle. Keep doing this until the eggs solidify. Add the salt and pepper and cook until the eggs reach your desired doneness. It should only take about 4 to 5 minutes to cook fluffy scrambled eggs. If you want them to be a little harder, then cook them for another 2 minutes.

Finally, serve them and Enjoy! You can garnish the scrambled eggs with whatever you would like or nothing at all! I like simple and plain style eggs. However, chives on top certainly help the eggs to pop in color! Serve your fluffy scrambled eggs with whatever breakfast staples that you like such as bacon and toast. As you can tell it’s easy to make fluffy scrambled eggs, but it is all about technique. I hope you enjoy eating these fluffy scrambled eggs!
