This recipe uses a seasoning blend of smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Smoked paprika gives off so much more flavor than regular paprika. So, if extra flavor is what you are looking for, then you surely do not want to miss out on adding smoked paprika. Cayenne pepper is truly what gives these wings their kick. Without that ingredient, they would still have a good flavor, but wouldn’t be spicy. So, be sure to use it! If you don’t have any cayenne pepper on hand, then make a quick run to your local store.

Ingredients

  • 1 1 ½ pounds chicken wings and drummettes

  • 1 tablespoon 1 smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon 1 garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon 1 cayenne pepper

  • 1 teaspoon 1 chili powder

  • salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  • Season wings with smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, chili powder, salt and pepper.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 20 to 22 minutes. Shake basket every 5 minutes.
  • Allow to rest for 5 minutes. Serve and Enjoy!

Also, I should mention that oil is not required to make these wings. That’s the unique thing about air frying them. To air fry these Spicy Party Wings, place them about 1 inch apart in the air fryer basket and cook them for 20 to 22 minutes at 400°F. Be sure to shake about every 5 minutes. Then, serve and enjoy your delicious wings! If your air fryer is not big enough to fit them all, then you might have to work in batches.

Once the 20-minute cooking time is finished, allow your wings to rest for about 5 minutes. Then, go ahead and take your first bite. They should be quite crispy while remaining juicy on the inside. Be sure to pair these Spicy Party Wings with your favorite dipping sauce. I typically go for either ranch or blue cheese. Oh, and depending on your spice tolerance level, don’t forget a drink to go with them!

Hopefully, you enjoy eating these Spicy Party Wings and find them easy to make! Have fun and Happy, Happy Cooking! Until next time.
