Now, if you are a banana lover, then you will absolutely love this recipe. It’s creamy, easily digestible, and tasty. Alright, let’s go through the rundown of how to make this Refreshing Banana Smoothie.

All you need to make this recipe are four key ingredients. If you are a regular smoothie drinker, then you most likely already have these ingredients on hand. They are ½ cup of milk, 1 banana, 4 ice cubes, and ½ cup of vanilla Greek yogurt. That’s it! That sounds simple enough, right? You bet it is! To make this smoothie simply use a blender to blend all of the ingredients and Voila! You have made yourself 1 serving of a Refreshing Banana Smoothie. It’s as easy as that, folks!

Depending on how sweet your banana is, if you want to sweeten up the smoothie a little bit more, then add a bit of honey. I like my smoothie slightly sweetened by the banana. So, I tend to opt out of adding any additional sweetener such as honey. Also, the vanilla Greek yogurt is sweet enough for my taste buds. You too might just find that to be the case!

Unlike when baking a banana recipe such as banana bread, this recipe does not have to be made with a super ripe banana. Too ripe of a banana in this smoothie can be somewhat overpowering. It is also OK to make this with frozen bananas. Using a banana that is still somewhat firm can help to thicken up the smoothie.

  • ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt

Notes

  • If using a frozen banana, omit the ice cubes.

I should also mention that if you are using frozen bananas, then you will not need to use any ice. So, if you are choosing to use frozen sliced banana, then you will be making a three-ingredient recipe. A lot of people do not have frozen bananas readily available so, that is why I chose to write the recipe calling for a regular banana and ice.

It is best to serve this Refreshing Banana Smoothie right after making it so that it is fresh and doesn’t brown or get too frothy. Hopefully, you enjoy this quick, delicious, and Refreshing Banana Smoothie!
