  • Remove from the oven and allow to rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Any type of potato works with this recipe.
  • To ensure even cooking time, be sure to cut all pieces the same size.

To get started on making these, wash the potatoes and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Pat them dry well. Spread them out on a sheet pan. Then, drizzle on oil (grapeseed oil is my go-to!), followed by a blend of garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Using your hands, toss them around so that each piece gets evenly coated.

Next, bake them at 425° F for 35 to 40 minutes, or until they’re browned and slightly crispy on the outside. There is no need to toss the potatoes as they roast. They cook through evenly on their own. After baking them, remove them from the oven. Then, allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve them with your favorite food or just eat them alone as a snack with some ketchup. These potatoes pair wonderfully with steak, chicken, or salmon. I love to serve them with green beans, as well. To make these potatoes stand out and look pretty, you can top them with some fresh parsley or other herbs of your choice.

As you can probably tell by the recipe instructions, this is an easy and no-fuss dish to make. Knowing how to make a flavorful batch of Oven Roasted Potatoes is a good skill to have! So, if you didn’t already know how then now you know! I sure do hope that you enjoy these easy Oven Roasted Potatoes. And, hopefully, you will make these for years to come! Happy Cooking!!
